OpenSMA is an open source stop-motion animation software made by Arron Cobbett and Graeme lawrence. We made this software to basically give ourselves a modern variation of "Anasazi Stop Motion Animator", a piece of software we used as kids. And we hope to pass that experience along to future animators in the making.
It features the following.
- Camera and resolution selection options.
- Frame capture, playback preview and export to .MP4, .GIF and as an Image Sequence.
- Frame Averaging with capture time options for cleaner, less noisy frames!
- Bad shot? you can click the frame in the timeline and hit delete to remove it!
I would recommend installing "Cameractrls" as we use this ourselves to control our webcam settings.
